COSMONATUR 2018 – SINERGIA and Escola de Disseny Floral de Catalunya

3-day course to perfect your floral techniques in: table and furniture decoration, basket creation and large format compositions. Set in an idyllic location (Delta del Ebro, in Catalonia, Spain), the course will introduce you to the secrets of international master florists Britta Ohlrogge (from Germany), Berit Skjøttgaard (from Denmark) and Francesc Porres (from Spain).

Come and create compositions in which landscape and work are closely linked together. We’ll use nature elements from the Delta de l’Ebre as prime material, and our work will be born in the same place where it gets its inspiration from. Our purpose is to produce emotions in the viewer. Our aim is to reflect the relationship between man, land and environment. Our goal is to learn to express and show the interaction between the human-artist and the environment. As a support, the florists will have (amongst others) materials from the surrounding landscape, because the land that surrounds us plays an essential part in our inspiration, and it is often the one that shows us the way to follow. First, the artist dialogues with nature. Then the transformation arises. The artistic experience allows us to recover ancestral values, and communicate ideas, thoughts and feelings.
