The publishing of this volume is the second stage of the project that started online in 2015, when the digital platform www.floos.org brought together some of the most innovative and influential masterflorists from around the world.
The present book portrays 24 step-by-step floral recipes from the very beginning of FLOOS and showcases the impressive work of 8 international authors who have been part of the project from the start: Brigitte Heinrichs, Alex Segura, Bea Beroy, Natalia Zhizhko, Daniel Santamaria, Joseph Massie, Berit Skjøttgaard and Carles J. Fontanillas.
The recipes selected in THE CRAFTER’S SECRET, VOL. 01 have been carefully chosen by each author and they depict the designers’ personal vision and their unique approach to floral artistry.
Inside the book, the user can find each author’s point of view, their reasoning and their advice; all shown in an extremely detailed step-by-step guide that allows the reader to easily recreate the fine design of the arrangements.
Each composition offers in-depth instructions, beautiful photographs and practical QR codes, which allow the user to watch the techniques used by the crafters.
Talking about the launch of their first book, the main promoter behind the project, master florist Carles J. Fontanillas, said: “the purpose of this volume is to bring the creations of our outstanding authors to those professionals who don’t use the Internet often, so that they can have the recipes to hand in a manual that is easy to use.”
